Welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Chi Omega Chapter. This year, our illustrious, Sorority is embarking on our 115th Year of Service and Sisterhood. Under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, we are delighted to bring the 2022-2026 Program Platform “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” to our local communities. The five initiatives under this platform are jammed pack with opportunities to partner with the community on issues that are most relevant to our service population and others:

Soaring into 2025, we are proud of the history and legacy of Phi Chi Omega’s 24th year of serving Surry and Isle of Wight Counties. Our membership consists of compassionate, committed, creative and community-focused women who have worked diligently and faithfully to foster programs and activities to meet the mission of our sorority, service to all mankind and to make a difference in the lives of those we are fortunate to serve.

As we begin a new year of planning for impactful and innovative programs and to maximize our outreach, we are grateful for all that we have been able to do and for the many that have supported our endeavors.
Lastly, as a 48-year member of this amazing Sorority, I am blessed beyond measure to have the privilege to serve as the Chapter President to 48 remarkable women to include career educators, healthcare professionals, community pioneers, military veterans, lawyers and others who have made remarkable achievements in their communities and professions.
